Official Election Rules/Posting Policy

Official Posting Policy 

Violating any of the following rules could result in removal from the ballot. Every incident will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

·         Campaigning officially begins Monday, March 12th at 9am as long as your application has been officially submitted. All posters must be approved in the SORC (Pryz 125) before being posted.
·         No Posters larger than regular computer paper can be posted in the Pryzbyla Center or any academic buildings.
·         No posting flyers on windows, signs or over other flyers of any kind.
·         All posters/flyers must include your name, the date of the election (3/21/12), voting times and places (9am-9pm, Pryz Lobby or vote.cua.edu).
·         Posters must be removed from the Pryz by 10pm on Tuesday, March 20th.
·         No campaigning will be allowed in the Pryz on the date of the election including:

                  Anyone wearing or distributing campaign materials (ie. shirts, stickers, posters…)

·         No one may use a computer to solicit votes on election day except for election officials at the voting table in the Pryz.
·         Use of University Listservs is prohibited.
·         STUDENTS MUST FOLLOW RHO POSTING POLICIES.
 
Additional Rules for Posting in Residence Halls:
·         Candidates may not post on bulletin boards or glass doors
·         All posters on personal room doors in residence halls require approval before being posted
·         No sliding fliers under individual student doors.
·         In Opus, there is no posting directly on the paint but rather on the cork strips that are available in each elevator bay.
·         The Res Life staff will keep an eye out for postings in inappropriate locations. (thrown down stairwells, on bulletin boards, over windows/doors, etc.) and will take flyers down as necessary.
·         YOU may not hang up fliers on student doors, however, the resident of the room may if he/she chooses to do so.
·         All hanging of fliers in Residence Halls MUST be done during visitation hours.
